Help needed: Rebecca Soni

We got an email from Hungary, claiming that this is the grave of Rebecca Soni's Jewish grandfather (note the stones): We can't find anything to confirm or deny her Jewishness. However, as it notes above, Pal Soni worked at the University of Babes-Bolyai. That is located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from where Soni's Hungarian family emigrated to the US.

Soni is the US swimmer who today broke her own world record in the 200 meter breaststroke. She has five medals total.

Confirmed... Jewish paternal grandparents. Auschwitz survivors...

Perhaps someone has information about actor Mark Blum (Desperately Seeking Susan, Crocodile Dundee, Broadway). He was born in Newark in 1950, so that, as well as the last name, point to Jewish. Any help will be appreciated.
