  1. Isaac Babel was one bad-ass Jew, I hear.
    The Strugatsky brothers are as synonymous with Russian science fiction as the Vayner brothers with the Russian mystery.
    And Ilya Erenburg, who coined the phrase: "Kill a German" (can you believe this phrase needed to be coined?), certainly deserves a mention.

    But Mikhail Zhvanetsky is, of course, The Truth (his rap nickname).
