Often thought the whole Harry Potter world was about Jews, non-Jews and part-Jews. Muggles are Goyim. Wizards are Jews. Perhaps these are just another Jewish sect.
Would that make the Malfoys Haredi (in not accepting of converts), and Voldemort... I don't know, Meir Kahane?
