Darn, would have been so cool. Almost. Nissan's are usually so dependable. I had one that lasted for years. But, who knows, she might pick up where she left off and you'll have to update her profile.
I think she might qualify as "barely a Jew". Going to temple, studying Hebrew, and eating/ cooking kosher for a year without fail is more than some observant Jews do.
Did she explain why her mother began doing those things? Did her family experiment with other religions/cultures on a regular basis?
