If you enjoy reading about chess, may I recommend the novella "The Royal Game" by Stefan Zweig (Jew, and the subject of your profile #953). I'd call it a masterpiece, the only story I've ever read (or even imagined reading) about chess that feels like a thriller.
Adding to that list, I'd also recommend Game of Kings by Michael Weinreb, who is one of the best writers I've had the privilege of working with (and Jewish, as well).
