The mainstream media was puzzled as there was no "official" report of her death, and Nora's publicist immediately tweeted the NY Times that she was alive.
About an hour later, Liz Smith announced that "she is gravely ill and will not see the night", only for the news to officially report her death about 1/2 hour later.
