"Internet nexus of cultural Judaism" — Examiner.com
Just to add, Craig was another recent victim of the Wikipedia "he's Jewish" monster...
OK, this comment is only related to Daniel Craig (who, in my not so humble opinion, makes a less convincing Bond than he would the Russian villain) by marriage, but I couldn’t find anywhere better to post it, so here we go: Rachel Weisz, the semi-recent Mrs. Bond, is ¾ Jewish – the goyishe quarter being her maternal grandmother, who was of half Italian, half Austrian stock. Not too complicated, and Weisz herself mentions growing up in a rather traditional Jewish household. For a Halacha Jack-in-office, though, she probably wouldn’t cut it. Meaning that her son is approximately 87.5 per cent genetically Jewish and certainly 100 per cent culturally so, but fails the necessary matriline… and I’m going to stop right here, before *I* start to take these ratings seriously. Especially since it concerns a profile too ancient to be found on this blog.
Ah, terrific, that cleared up a bit. Fixing Rachel's profile... Thanks.
So was Rachel's Mother's Mother Jewish or was Rachel's Mother's Father Jewish? Because I've read that her Mother had some Jewish ancestry, so which side is it, (Her Mother's that is)Is it her Mother's Mother or Mother's Father that's Jewish?
Why is Judaism so confusing?
