Why would they name a sandvich containing meat and cheese "The Jewish Hoagie"?
People are clueless. In a somewhat related note, the Jewish-style deli at Turner Field offers a ham sandwich.
There should be a Russian-Jewish-style deli, then there'd be no controversies. Ham sandwiches - no-no! Hefty slabs of garlic-stuffed pork fat on black rye - YES!!!
hmmm if this is a Jewish hoagie then may be some on can create a bacon cheese burger and put it on on a bagel and call that a Jewish hamburger
