About your comment about Hogwarts and Christmas; Christmas is a pagan holiday, the winter solstice, Yuletide. That is why it is a celebration for the wizards and witches of Hogwarts. It has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. Look at the other pagan celebrations, Imbolc, Oestara, Beltaine, LItha, Lughnasadh, Maybon, and Samhain. Harry's Birthday is Lughnasadh and so is J.K. Rowlings's, and Hermione's birthday is the Autumn Equinox or Maybon.

ReplyDeleteWhy do they still have Easter vacation, then?
