Eh, I don't think Wolfgang Pauli is such a German (non-Jewish) name. There were plenty of Jews named Wolfgang, and even somebody like a Wolf Blitzer has a variation on this name. And I'm not sure what Pauli would sound like to me - something Italian? A kind of weird Swiss name? I wouldn't say German.
And Derek Brown sounds English! It sounds like the chief film reviewer for The Guardian or something.
If you believe Wikipedia, his Jewishness (and general ethnicity) is actually rather complicated (though completely in line with the given I score of 3 and O score of 2):
