Think you are referring to Dracula (1931) where Lugosi wears a six-pointed medallion. House of Dracula is a 1945 picture with John Carradine as the notorious Count and Lon Chaney, Jr. as the Wolfman.
Wow. Very interesting. As Freud (dubiously) said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Hence sometimes a six pointed medallion is just a snowflake or a stylized sphere... Clearly not a star of David.
