Andrew Breitbart was an editor for the Drudge Report (FYI, Matt Drudge is also Jewish) and also helped to start the popular Huffington Post (FYI, Arianna Huffington is not Jewish). From what I have read, Mr. Breitbart was a conservative and controversial person, including his support for the Tea Party movement. However, it was not until after he died that the Breitbart.com news site became politically twisted (IMHO) under Mr. Bannon's leadership. In summary, Mr. Breitbart himself probably doesn't deserve the hatred that his news service currently suffers (and does deserve). Since I don't really know well about Mr. Breitbart, I am open to hear arguments to the contrary.
