I object to your treatment of St. Teresa. I'd like to point out that Jewish holy men had mystical experiences that sound odd as well. David dancing naked in front of the Ark of the Covenant? Sounds fishy, but no one is laughing or criticizing, except Michal. I'd like to suggest that, like Michal, you revise your comments.
We've made fun of numerous Jewish holy men, including David. In fact, him getting his lover's husband killed is by far a much greater transgression than a naked dance.
